I’ve always been fascinated with twins. Even before I had twins.
When I found out I was having twins, I immediately wondered if my twins would have their own secret language.
I really, really wanted them to.
If you call biting each other constantly their own language, then they had one.
But, I’m pretty sure NO ONE would consider that their own language.
I was pretty bummed when it became apparent that they spoke to each other just like they spoke to everyone else.
I was all prepared to be the first to decode their language.
But, no. No such luck.
However, they do do some pretty crazy “Twilight Zone” things that both delight and freak me out a little bit.
For example:
Last week Jacob fell on a magazine rack and popped some blood vessels in his right eye.
Not to be outdone, John popped a blood vessel in HIS right eye.
Now, they didn’t do it the same way, but they both did it in the same location in the same eye within a week of each other.
Weird? I think so.
If they can’t have their own special language, I guess they can have this.
Or I can. However you want to look at it.
